Project #5

Project #5--red linen tunic for HRH Sean.
The embroidery is very simple and only around the neckline. His device contains "blood drops" so I incorporated that and worked them in gold stem stitch. He also wanted his Ducal Strawberry leaves, so they were worked in black using stem stitch for the main outline and a delicate Holbein stitch was used for the details of the leaves.

The black, gold and white inkle weave was made by Lord Griff and Lady Brigitta.

Nisa's yellow dress--#4

Happiness! Project #4:

HRH Nisa's yellow underdress, done in the same style as Sean's: stem stitch on the gryphons and chain stitch on parts of the gryphon and on the vines. I am still finishing up the hem vines, but you can see that it is looking rather nice. They will stop traffic!

Their over clothes are cotehardies: black linen, short sleeved, buttons neck to hem and are embroidered with gold. The embroidery is of a large gryphon facing inward (same as sleeves) on the bottom portion and Nisa's hem is decorated with Tudor Roses and Butterflies. All that embroidery was worked by Baroness Anna in the stem stitch.

Sean's Yellow Tunic

HRH Sean now has a completed yellow undertunic for his Coronation Ceremony.
